  • I have a collection of over 400+  ORIGINAL VINTAGE LIGHT FIXTURES. I am constantly adding new stock, so if you are looking for something and do not see it, please inquire and I will assist you. You will discover that I am "crazy" about these fixtures.  It stems from my own dedication to the reuse/renew restyle movement.

  • All of our shades are ORIGINAL VINTAGE manufactured between 1920 and 1963. Most of them have the original sockets they were manufactured with. Because originally they were designed to be used in series with other fixtures, the original sockets have UL ratings right on them, usually in raised relief. These are either 1500W 660V, or 600W 600V. You can see we do not need this amount of capacity today, however these original sockets when used and wired with the correct guage can accomodate it.  I use 14 guage solid core wire and all sockets are rewired AND GROUNDED .

  • If the shade has been fitted with a new porcelain socket, these are UL rated 600W, 250V, 4KV, and these are prewired using 18 guage wire.

  • The Porcelain Enamel Finish, This is the same process used on plumbing fixtures and stoves, using minerals and glass applied to steel, then heated to extreme temperatures to literally meld the two together. The process was stopped in 1963 due to EPA regulations involving air polution created by the manufacturing process of both the steel and the porcelain enamel finish. This ORIGINAL VINTAGE finish is impervious to any natural or chemical elements, will not lose its shine, and already has proven its properties. A photo does not due justice to these amazing pieces of history, considering they were and still are in some cases used in factories and warehouses, outdoors on barns and sheds, public buildings, store fronts and street lighting, they were manufactured during a time when little consideration was given to material costs. The porcelain enamel coatings and the guage of the steel used simply are not duplicated today. These were all manufactured in the USA. They are  indestructable, short of a shotgun blast.

  • The fittings on the Gooseneck Arms, these are coated or galvanized to prevent rust and they are "water tight" and sealed for use outdoors.

  • How to Install... The backplate provided can be screwed directly onto either your building exterior or onto an elecrical box. It also can be attached directly to an electrical box with a 3/4" diameter hole. If you want to add a sensor for timing or motion, you can find an electrical box designed for both the Gooseneck Arm and your sensor. If you are going to use an exposed electrical box, outside, this will have to be rated for outdoor use.

  • For the light bulbs.... Notice the neck on the fixture you like, the taller necks will accomodate a standard base light bulb and it will not be exposed, even if it is a low profile shade. On the low profile shades with a small neck, you will have the bulb exposed, usually about 2-3 inches. You will need to use a light bulb that is designed for exposure to the elements. Keep in mind this also adds to the overall height of the fixture. All of these fixtures, when the gooseneck arm is facing straight down are Dark Sky Compliant.

  • Pendants fixtures.....I show them just one way, but optional is piping, cording, or twisted cloth covered wire.....attention is given to custom or special requests.

  • The Industrial Pendants.....This is special selection of VINTAGE ORIGINAL MILK GLASS REFLECTOR shades and ORIGINAL HOLDERS and VINTAGE BRASS SOCKETS. I also research and redesign the " parts" of vintage industrial lighting and come up with the complete fixtures, by adding custom made parts, fittings, and cluster sockets.   These are all rewired and ready to install.  The form and function of these early light fixtures.......is the same today as it was 100 years ago!  ALL THE LIGHT BULBS DISPLAYED ARE INCLUDED WITH EACH INDUSTRIAL FIXTURE.
